Daisy's Dark Castle

This may be the most niche, small audience, and esoteric joke I've ever thought of. I'm probably the only one who thinks its funny too. EDIT- Wow, four favorites in the first five minutes. Guess I was wrong

You see, when Princess Daisy first came along in Super Mario Land she was drawn very similarly to Princess Peach. When Nintendo brought her back in games like Mario Tennis (N64) and Mario Party 3 they wanted to distinguish her from Peach. So they decided to give Daisy a deep tan. When they brought her back in Mario Party 4 the tan was gone and the paler princess is the one we see today. No one has ever mentioned that weird darker skin tone.

I like to think Daisy just tans really REALLY easily and uses GALLONS of sunblock when she goes out and about nowadays.
